Following our meeting on 24th January with the Producer and Director of Bengal Truth, the Hind Punarutthan Sangh (HPS) – Pune Chapter organized an exclusive screening of the documentary for invited guests.
On the evening of 21st February 2026, approximately 25 esteemed Sanatana Dharma Patrons from diverse backgrounds gathered to watch the film. The audience included defence veterans, scientists, Sangh representatives, and members of various Hindu organizations.
The event commenced with the HPS Geet, “Hum Karen Rashtra Aaradhan,” setting a patriotic and devotional tone for the evening.
Producer Ankit introduced the documentary, offering insights into its subject matter as well as their earlier works through an audio podcast presentation. The film, with a runtime of 93 minutes and a brief interval of 10–15 minutes, held the audience’s attention throughout.
Bengal Truth highlights a dark and often overlooked chapter of history, documenting the Hindu genocide in Bengal – from the 1905 partition to the Durga Puja attacks of 2021. The dedication and journey of the Producer and Director, reflected in their previous projects, were deeply appreciated by the attendees.
Shri Mukund Puranik provided an overview of the HPS organization and its activities, while Shri Mahabaleshwar Deshpande addressed the gathering, emphasizing the urgent need for unity among Hindus to bring about the long-awaited change in Bengal.
The screening concluded on a thoughtful and resolute note, leaving the audience with a deeper awareness and a renewed sense of purpose.
